I recently applied to an internship at KNOCK Inc. and alongside my portfolio, resume, and cover letter I was tasked with making a piece of creative answering the following prompt: "At Knock, six values guide our way of being on a daily basis. Empathy, Vision, Wisdom, Collaboration, Openness, and Curiosity. Please choose one of these values and show us how you embody it or identify with it."

After giving this some thought I decided I wanted my piece to say that while all of these values are both important and interconnected, embodying all of these values starts by leading with empathy. And empathy begins with listening. So, I made the following poster to visualize how that shows up as a part of my creative process. While I unfortunately did not end up getting the internship I am still proud of how this poster turned out!
