Hopewell Music 2022 Give to the Max Day Campaign

Give to the Max Day is a nonprofit day of giving that happens in Minnesota every November. For Hopewell Music Cooperative North, a non-profit music school dedicated to sharing the joy of music in North Minneapolis, Give to the Max Day is their biggest fundraising campaign of the year. I was the Communications Coordinator during this campaign and wanted to showcase the ways music education helps students build life skills that benefit them both inside and outside the music classroom. This campaign was a huge success, raising over $19K for student scholarships!

Music as a therapeutic outlet

This video was created using footage from a video production company Hopewell Music hired called Developlay had produced of interviews with Hopewell Music staff, students, and community members. The goal of this video was to highlight the importance of music as a therapeutic outlet.

Student performances

I created this video using footage that Developlay shot of a Hopewell Music recital. Part of the strategy for this campaign was to highlight student talent to show donors and potential donors what their money would support. Featured in this video is a piano student playing a piece he composed himself!
